It’s difficult to mess up a seafood recipe. Many cultures eat seafood raw and it needs very little cooking or spices.

Recipes with shrimps are popular in every culture. Though we have tried many shrimp recipes, my family always comes back to our family favorite. It is quite simple, really. Add a whole heap of finely sliced red onions, shelled and viened shrimp, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt to a pan of hot oil and that’s it. The cooking is said to be the fabulous and perfect when the whole mixture has been allowed to cook, including each and every portion of the shrimp and that of the onion to turn into fiery red gravy; though practically it is not followed strictly.

Nothing to it, wont you agree? Fish is really quite nice to eat raw when made into a Japanese style sushi or the Bali recipe which calls for a marinade of lemon juice and coconut milk and served up with cucumber and tomatoes. If the fish is cut into steaks, your options for cooking include grilling, frying or even cooking in the microwave. Usually fish recipes range from the simplest, in which you simply microwave fillets of fish with a bit of butter and lemon juice with salt and pepper added for taste. English fish and chips can not be compared with anything, however we use hot spices on our fish make it pan fried. Grind onion, ginger and garlic along with hot spices and apply this paste liberally over the stakes, followed by shallow fry and it tastes fantastic!

Salmon, generally considered to be an expensive delicacy, is not my favorite fish. I would any day prefer trout to it. Our family is fond of salmon paste sandwiches. Everybody in life undoubtedly has the preferences of one’s own, for example, a spicy paste of salmon may considered to be a great insult to the beautiful fish by some people whereas others may like the taste to the core of their hearts. I tried salmon at the restaurant and didn’t like the tangy flavor so I haven’t tried it since then.

If I had used my home salmon recipes to marinade the salmon steaks in a spicy mixture, it might have passed the requirements of my fussy aste buds. One can confirm that a first impression is everlasting. Since I can’t obtain salmon where I currently live, I’m not that interested in it anymore.
