Before the “official” SEO Link Monster review comes out, I’ve listed the most important SEO strategies that you should learn to get the most from the search engines:

  1. keyword research – This is where the optimization process begins. You can’t continue with anything if you haven’t researched the keywords that you are going to use. Every optimization strategy that follows will revolve around your main keywords. Keyword research is not very hard to do because there are a lot of keyword tools that you can use. Majority of these tools are free to use but you can make use of the paid ones if you need more features.
  2. link building – The links that point to your website are very important because these are counted by the search engines then taken into account when the search engines try to determine how your website should rank in the SERPS. Generally, the more links your website gets, the higher it will rank in the SERPS. However, you also have to understand that the quality of the links are accounted for as well. For instance, a link from the New York Times website is much more valuable than a dozen links from unknown sites.
  3. The Right keywords – Having a list of keywords won’t mean a thing if you don’t know how to integrate them into your website content. Always consult your keyword list when writing new content for your website. Make sure that every page and section of your site contains a keyword or two. Do not overdo your keywords though or you will be accused of keyword stuffing. Check your keyword ratios every now and then to make sure that you aren’t going overboard.
